| Client was driving a vehicle while on what can only be described as a major cocaine binge. Client’s blood tested at levels many times the normal range for being considered under the influence. The client lost control of his vehicle slamming it into the freeway guard rail. Upon arrival, the officers located an infant lying unsecured on the floor board in the rear of the vehicle. Client was charged with felony child endangerment. Thanks to close work with the attorney, the client was able to address his substance abuse problem outside of the criminal justice system and received a suspended sentence and ordered to do Public Work Service in lieu of any custody time. Also, the client’s plea will be reduced to a misdemeanor in 18 months thus preserving his record. | |||
